Life has taught me a great many things about starting a successful business, raising a family and our country's experiment in self-government.

 

When much is given, much is expected in return and I owe a great many of my blessings to the City of Virginia Beach and to the people who, like me, call this wonderful city our home.

 

Our country, commonwealth and our city faced a great many challenges. Not only in protecting our quality of life, but also in passing on a city where our children can live affordably, work to achieve their dreams and raise their own families.

 

The task ahead won't be easy, but together we can make it all happen.
